Kelly Rainer is the George Phillips Privett Professor of Management Information Systems at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. He received his B.S. degree in Mathematics from Auburn and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. After practicing dentistry for 10 years, Dr. Rainer returned to school and received his Ph.D from the University of Georgia. His current academic interests centre on the impact of disruptive technologies on organizations and society.

Ingrid Splettstoesser Hogeterp teaches management information systems, auditing, and information systems auditing using a multidisciplinary approach at York University in Toronto. Her research and publications are based on real-world cases involving the documentation and analysis of e-commerce systems. She believes in continuing education, as shown by her educational background, which includes mathematics, management sciences, psychology, and forensics. She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Brad Prince is Associate Dean and Professor of MIS in the Richards College of Business at the University of West Georgia. He received his B.S. degree in Marketing from Jacksonville State University, MBA from Auburn University, and Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Auburn University. He has taught a range of MIS classes at the undergraduate and graduate level, both online and in the traditional classroom. His current research focuses on the use of social media in higher education.

Cristóbal Sánchez-Rodríguez is a professor of audit and management information systems at the School of Administrative Studies at York University in Toronto, where he teaches courses in electronic commerce, management of strategic information systems, and business statistics. Dr. Sánchez-Rodríguez has published research papers on a number of operations management and information systems topics. His research has been published in the International Journal of Operations and Production ManagementInternational Journal of Production Economics, and International Journal of Enterprise Information Management, among others. Dr. Sánchez-Rodríguez has conducted research with multi-national organizations and has provided consulting services to International Data Corporation (IDC) Canada.
